Innovative Film City

The day started quite early... I woke up at 07.30 a.m. on a Sunday… Which means: PAINFUL !!
I went to meet Raquel and Johan at MG Road and went to the Innovative Film City, an amusent park close to Bangalore.

When we arrived the first impression was not the best… The park was still under construction, so I thought: “ok, today is going to be a fast day at the park…” But I was wrong… Already in the ticket office, we saw this advertisement for a dance contest held on Saturdays and Sundays in the park. As Raquel is a great dancer and she loves to dance (as me and Johan) she came with the idea of signing in for the STAR HUNTING!! And so we did =)
Since the weather was not so good we started with some indoor activities, we started with the Wax Museum (so “cheap”…) and then we moved to the Ripley’s Museum (this was funnier, but still something was missing…)
After two museums we definitely needed some outdoor activities, so we moved to the mini-golf. But the weather was not helping so much… With the rain we changed the golf by the restaurant. And now a new problem was arising: which music should we dance in the competition? When we applied for the contest we did not give any music because we don’t know many Bollywood music (or at least we don’t know the music’s names) so we should give the name of the music before the beginning of the SHOW!
We decided for a funny music from Bollywood:”Get Populaaaaaar, Get Muscular, Get popular, get muscular SPETACULAR!!!”
The show started with the Junior competition (from 5 to 12 years old). And guess what? The last music that was danced was the music that WE suppose to dance!! Ups… So we needed to change our music… Too bad!! Now, we chose the “Singh is King” music (the number 1 in the Indian Hit chart). When started the “Senior” competition, our “performance” arrived quite early (please note that we just want to dance, since we cannot dance in BLR because of the stupid laws we have to apply for dancing contests to have some fun!!). To help us and to have more fun we asked some girls (that were on the competition as well) to join us on the stage, and so they did! Suddenly instead 3 dancers we were 10(????) dancing the “Singh is King” hit! We had a lot of fun and that was the goal of our presence in the contest!
Before the show to finish, since was getting too late we wanted to leave the room and enjoy the rest of the park… but host asked us for us to stay till the end of the show…

And guess what??? I won the prize for Hero – (best male dancing of the contest). It was a funny surprise since we were there just for fun! But you know what? I never got any award related with Finance… perhaps I should rethink my career :p
Ahhaahhah

From the contest we went to the go-cart. It was my first time in a go-cart racing and I liked a lot! I was really funny!! From there we went for a cinema 4D, where we had a lot of fun again, swimming next to fishes, which were there just next to us :)

Other “landmark” form the trip was the “Mirror Maze”. It was so funny to get lost in this labyrinth where we have mirrors instead of walls! The lack of light really makes the illusion that some people might be next to us, but the truth is that just a mirror!

Before we went back to Bangalore we have seen some other places, the park had more fun than we expected and we were there till it closed… Was a very funny day!
